Further Information:

The Queen's Park Suspension Bridge connects The Groves with the Queen’s Park area of Chester. It is one of only two footbridges to cross the river, with the other at the bottom of Ferry Lane, Sealand.

The current bridge was built by the Chester Corporation and opened on 18 April 1923. It replaced the old Queen’s Park Bridge, seen in  c12487.
